ORIENTATION & TRAINING
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO GET ROAD-READY
Our paid, one-day orientation gives you everything you need to get settled, meet the team and prepare for the road ahead.
OWNER OPERATORS
We’ll walk you through everything you need to complete before getting on the road with Whitacre.
YOUR ORIENTATION SCHEDULE
- Truck inspection, if required, at participating locations
- Insurance paperwork
- Lease
- On-boarding paperwork
- Welcome to Whitacre presentation, 1–2 hours
- ELD/HOS/App training
- Wrap up / closing
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
- Your 2000 or newer vehicle — must be ELD compatible
- Driver’s license
- Social Security card or Birth Certificate
- DOT Medical Card
- 5-Page Long Form Physical
- Vehicle Registration / Cab Card
- Current DOT Inspection within 30 days with receipt
- Certificate of bobtail insurance — $1 million in coverage listing Whitacre Logistics
- Voided check for direct deposit or direct deposit form from your bank
- IFTA letter if self reporting
GETTING OUR PLATES
If you’ll be getting Whitacre plates, please bring:
- Copy of your title, front & back
- Paid-current 2290 with IRS stamp
